ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABLE POSITION

 

POSITION:                            OFFICE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

 

POSITION AVAILABLE:        FALL 2008

 

QUALIFICATIONS:               The successful applicant must demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of office technology.  In addition, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years work experience in office technology is required.  A master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in office technology or business education and a minimum of three years work experience in office technology is preferred.  The aptitude to assist both new and mature students achieve their educational goals and objectives is a must.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                        The Office Technology Instructor has specific responsibilities for the Office Technology Program at Clarendon College Pampa Center  and for teaching classes as assigned.  In addition, the Instructor is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and selecting students for the program.  The instructor is responsible for the success of the teaching/learning process within the classroom.  The instructor is supervised by the division director and has opportunity to influence institutional policy and practice through regular committee assignments.

 

SALARY:                                 Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
