How much time should an Internet course take to complete?

In most college courses you should expect to spend 2-3 hours a week for each credit hour. This means if you are taking a three-hour credit course during a regular semester you should expect to spend between 6-9 hours per week on that course. If you are taking a four-hour credit course during a regular semester you should expect to spend 8-12 hours a week. Summer courses will generally take twice this amount of time.
