EX-STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

Letter from the Ex-Students Association President

Greetings fellow alumni & Friends!

The officers of the Clarendon College (CC) Ex-Students Association joins me in welcoming you to the Ex-Students Web page, and inviting you to come back to Clarendon College. Bringing alumni together is the heart of our mission. Whether you are an ex-student from years past, a recent graduate, a current student, or a friend of the college, we encourage you to keep in touch with faculty and friends and maintain ties with the college by becoming a member of the Ex-Students Association.

We are committed to strengthening the college, maintaining its high ideals, and welcoming each new graduating class into the larger CC community that exists throughout the United States and the world. Each graduate and their memories of CC is a thread in the fabric of what makes CC the great institution it has become.

As in the world, change has taken place in the years since you graduated. The campus is in the midst of a period of growth and renovation with a new fitness center, a new dorm, equine facility, and a new library. While we are proud of these accomplishments and endeavors, we cannot rest on our laurels, especially in today's competitive environment. Instead, we must continue to cultivate the resources necessary to support on-going academic excellence and innovation.

That is where you, our alumni have always played and essential role with generous donations and public endorsements. You have all earned a valued place in history of the college's mission to ensure the highest quality of education in a world that demands it. The last century of CC has been an eventful one, and I am confident that as we stand together, the future of CC will be just as great!

If you have not joined the Ex-Student Association, please take a moment to complete the membership form, and always know, you can come back to relive and remember yesteryear at Clarendon College.

Leon "Bud" Schaffer
